Responsibilities and Procedures

  1. Attend DGR E-board meetings, Monthly Membership Meetings, and other emergency/special meetings as may be called.
  2. Serve as a voting member of the DGR Executive Board and participate in discussions, decisions, and recommendations concerning the business and activities of DGR.
  3. Represent the interests and perspectives of the general DGR membership during Executive Board discussions and provide input on matters affecting the organization.
  4. Assist the DGR President, other Officers, and Committee Chairs with projects, activities, and organizational needs as requested.
  5. Serve as a liaison or resource to DGR committees, projects, or special activities when requested by the DGR President or Executive Board.
  6. Assist with DGR events, membership activities, community outreach, voter engagement, and other club activities as needed.
  7. Identify opportunities, concerns, or issues that may benefit DGR and bring them to the attention of the DGR Executive Board for discussion and possible action.
  8. Encourage DGR members to become involved in club meetings, committees, events, and other activities.
  9. As requested, represent DGR at community meetings, events, or activities when another DGR Officer or Committee Chair is unavailable.
  10. Accept special assignments or responsibilities as requested by the DGR President or Executive Board, provided such assignments are consistent with the DGR Bylaws.
  11. Work cooperatively with DGR Officers, Committee Chairs, committee members, and the general membership to further the objectives and activities of DGR.

  1. Check email at least daily.
  2. Read and respond as needed to the DGR Officers Group Texting/Signal.
  3. Respond in a timely manner to telephone calls and emails related to DGR.
  4. Be familiar with DGR Bylaws.
  5. Stay informed about DGR meetings, events, committee activities, and other club business.
  6. Maintain regular communication with the DGR President and other members of the Executive Board regarding assigned projects or responsibilities.
