Riverside History Walk Rededication Ceremony

In honor of the American Bicentennial in 1976, the Soroptimist International of Riverside established a History Walk of 30 granite stones depicting key moments in Riverside History. The stones were installed in the plaza outside the Riverside Convention Center.

In 2012, the stones were removed as part of the Convention Center renovation. After 13 years of storage, the stones have been placed in the sidewalk on Main Street in front of the historic courthouse.

A rededication ceremony will take place on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at 11:30am the Veterans Plaza at City Hall.
