Responsibilities and Procedures
- Attend Monthly DGR E-board meetings, Monthly Membership Meetings, and other emergency/special meetings as may be necessary.
- Conduct Political Action Committee meetings as deemed needed.
- Coordinate voter registration efforts.
- Work with, but not limited to, the RCDP Endorsement Coordinator, the RCDP Political Action Committee, the RCDP Data Analysis Committee, and the RCDP External Alliance Committee.

Be knowledgeable of the election cycles of local elected officials.
- Congressional Representatives
- State Senate seats
- State Assembly seats

Non-Partisan Seats
- City of Riverside City Council
- Other non-partisan seats primarily within the greater area of the City of Riverside such as school boards, etc.
- Be knowledgeable of local candidates. Know who is seeking election and the political party of record of each candidate (utilize MOE/PDI) as well as qualifying information, deadlines, etc. By networking with the RCDP Endorsement Coordinator, almost all of this information can be provided frequently to the DGR Elections Committee Chair from the RCDP Endorsement Coordinator.
- In conjunction with the RCDP AD (Assembly District) Caucus Chairs, participate in the recruitment of Democratic candidates to seek elected office.
- Obtain knowledge about available campaign training and provide that information to Democratic candidates.
- Provide DGR members with information regarding serving on County of Riverside and City of Riverside Boards and Commissions, as this is often the first step in seeking election to political office.
- Participate as needed/appropriate with the Riverside County Democratic Party (RCDP) in its efforts to elect area Democrats.
Helpful Knowledge and Skills
- Basic knowledge of Google Drive and “Shared with me” files, Word, internet searches, and spreadsheets

Best Practices
- Check email at least daily.
- Read and respond as needed to the DGR Officers Group Texting/Signal.
- Respond in a timely manner to telephone calls and emails related to DGR.
- Be familiar with DGR Bylaws.
