DGR PRESIDENT JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities and Procedures
- Attend and chair DGR e-board meetings, Monthly Membership Meetings, and any other emergency/special meetings as may be called.
- Represent DGR at all relevant functions/activities.
- May co-sign DGR checks with the DGR Treasurer, the DGR Assistant Treasurer, and/or the DGR Secretary.

Ensure that Agendas for DGR Monthly Membership Meetings, E-board Meetings,
and any Special Meetings, etc. are prepared and distributed to required
postings/distributions within specified timelines per the relevant DGR Bylaws.
- Ensure that all items that DGR Board members wish to be included on the agendas are included.

Chair all DGR meetings.
- Introduce speakers or whomever is designated to introduce speakers.
- Prior to start of meetings, make everyone feel welcome.
- May involve cajoling folks into volunteering for committees, events, etc.

If meeting in-person, ensure that all materials are there at least
30 minutes prior to the beginning of the "social hour time."
- Sign in sheets
- Name tags
- Copies of the meeting agenda
- Copies of prior meeting's minutes
- If meeting via Zoom, prior to the DGR Monthly Membership Meeting, ensure that the meeting is set up on Zoom and that the Zoom Registration Link is provided to the DGR Communications Chair.
- Ensure that at least 7 days prior to the DGR Membership Meeting information is sent to DGR Members including the program, matters to be voted on, an agenda (required by DGR Bylaws), and other upcoming DGR events.
- Ensure that the DGR Post Office box is checked on a regular basis.
- Ensure that everything in the name of DGR is ADA compliant and all printed matter has a "Union Bug" or other disclaimer printed on it.
- Ensure that the DGR Google Voice phone calls are answered and responded to.
- As frequently as possible, attend RCDP meetings and any RCDP Club Support Meetings, etc. If unable to attend, ensure that someone is present to represent DGR. Ensure that actions requiring DGR action by the RCDP and/or CDP are completed.
- Ensure that someone is designated to ensure that DGR participates in community outreach including "booth opportunities."
- Respond to the DGR emails ( RiversideDemocrats.92501@gmail.com ) in a timely manner.

- Respond to DGR Officers, DGR Members, and Community Telephone Calls promptly.

- Review the DGR Facebook Page at least weekly.
