On 9/13, we packed the room for a grassroots meet-up with special guest Katie Porter. We also kicked off our Prop 50 organizing push. We welcomed many new friends and were energized by Katie’s remarks. Riverside County Democratic Chair Joy Silver rallied the room, and Michelle Singleton, the California Democratic Party’s Prop 50 organizer for Riverside County, outlined the path to a successful Yes-on-50 campaign. This weekend, our volunteers proved what grassroots energy can do. Our Day of Action for Chris Shoults was a powerful step toward flipping Assembly District 63 and making sure Riverside has the leadership it deserves.
